My name is Emily Boles and I’m the new Greek and Western Literature teacher for 8th and 9th grade. I’m here at St. John’s Academy after a short retirement and a call by God to serve this amazing school. I attended UF and FSU; all my life I have wanted to teach and after many life changes and 25 plus years in the construction industry I am finally back to my dream. My greatest accomplishments are the changed lives in my students, by helping them love knowledge and yearning to learn more. I have taught numerous subjects to all grade levels, but literature will always be my favorite. My hobbies include horseback riding, playing the piano, fishing and gardening. I live in Palatka and have 3 sons, 4 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
