Mrs. Soud graduated with her B.A. in Deaf and Elementary Education from Flagler College. Following graduation, she worked in several different schools as she got married to Mark and they began their journey moving around the country and living in various states. She then stayed home to raise and begin homeschooling their four children. She went back to work in a private school while they lived in California, and once they moved back to St. Augustine, FL, she began working at St. John’s Academy as an upper school aide. Since then, she has taught 6th-12th grades in various subjects, with her passion being in history. Karissa and her husband Mark have been married for over 20 years and have 4 children, 2 of which have graduated high school and the other 2 are currently attending St. John’s Academy. Karissa is excited about the opportunity to help prepare our future leaders!
