Mr. Soud is excited to join the faculty this year (2024)! Having served as an ordained pastor and church planter for ten years with prior ministry and missions experience, he is looking forward to using his training, experience, and gifts to disciple the upper school students. Mr. Soud earned a BA in Bible and Religion from King College (now University) in Bristol, TN, and a Master of Divinity (cum laude) from Knox Theological Seminary, where he earned departmental awards in Homiletics and New Testament Exegesis. During his time at Knox, Mr. Soud took courses in logic and was exposed to the earlier classics. Mr. Soud has been married to Mrs. Karissa Soud for 21 years. They are  looking forward to teaching at SJA together! Mr. and Mrs. Soud have two adult children (the oldest being a US  Marine) and two teenagers, both at the upper school. Most importantly, Mr. Soud is a sinner who has been and is  being saved by a gracious, merciful, and loving Triune God.
