Mrs. Rot has loved and supported St. John’s Academy since 2006 when her oldest daughter started Kindergarten. She and her husband of 26 years, Jeff, are blessed to have had all four of their children attend the Academy and now she is doubly blessed to be teaching Algebra to 7th, 8th, and 9th graders and 7th-grade Logic. She has been teaching at the Academy for 7 years. Her goal in academia is to instill a love for learning to her students and to develop cognitive processes beneficial for relevant, daily problem solving. Mrs. Rot has a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of California, Davis and a Master’s in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine. Math has always been one of Mrs. Rot’s favorite subjects and as a Christian, she views mathematics as an opportunity to observe God’s creation of order and organization.
